MAGNIFY Educational Ministry...The Potter's House Youth Department...Dallas, TX

The Education ministry, MAGNIFY, is purposed to challenge all F.I.R.E. House students, ages 13 through 23, to reach their personal best by implementing effective, spiritual educational programs outside of the classroom.

PROPEL College Prep Program will empower high school juniors and seniors, by giving them access to pertinent academic information, as well as providing training and support for a successful transition into college. Many students are not pursuing higher education for whatever reasons; lack of commitment, inequitable access to information, financial barriers, poor grades, etc. This program is intended to help fast track juniors and seniors by implementing an effective and practical strategy to pursue a higher education.

To help increase student performance on the TAKS exam.
To help progressively increase the number of honor roll students using the program.
To help prepare all college bound students and increase the number of F.I.R.E House students pursuing higher education or vocational training.
To retain at least 75% of all active volunteers each year.
To encourage more Hispanic student participation in educational programs.
To increase parental involvement in all education ministry programs.

Tutoring Every Wednesday from 7:00pm to 9:00pm
PROPEL College Prep Every 1st and 3rd Wednesday from 7:00pm to 9:00.
