Kevin accepted his call to preach at the age of 16 and thrust himself into the work of the ministry in whatever capacity he could find. By the age of 20 Kevin realized his God given gift to effectively communicate the Word of God through writing and speaking. He has taken these gifts and empowered young people who live in the same poverty and abuse that God miraculously delivered him from. Kevin D. Caldwell is by far "one from among them". Kevin Caldwell is anointed to change a generation into the very image of Christ with his dynamic and practical preaching and teaching styles. For the past 5 years and counting, Kevin has served in the youth ministry at The Potter's House Church in Dallas, TX in major capacities. Kevin was given the extreme honor of preaching his first Sunday morning service in the main sanctuary of The Potter's House under the watchful eye of Bishop T. D. Jakes in July of 2005. On October 30, 2005 in front of the Sunday morning congregation and visiting partners from around the country, Kevin Caldwell was ordained as a Pastor and the new Youth Pastor of The Potter's House Church making him the youngest Pastor in the history of The Potter's House at the age of 26. Pastor Kevin D. Caldwell escaped the trappings of a promiscuous lifestyle as a teenager and young adult, and remained chaste until his wedding day. On April 16th, 2005, Kevin indeed found his "good thing" in the former Yolanda Lacy. He is happily married and the couple now resides in Cedar Hill, TX. |
